Each child attending St. Fidelis School is required to be in the complete uniform at all times, with the exception of the Pre-K and Nursery classes who do not wear the uniform.
Uniforms are obtained from the Ideal Uniform Co., who sends representatives to the school each year to measure the students for uniforms. Students may not wear “similar” pants, shorts, or polos purchased elsewhere.

Girl’s uniform consists of:
- Plaid skirt, plaid skort, or gray trousers
- Short or long sleeved burgundy polo with school emblem
- Burgundy, gray, or white knee socks or tights
- Sensible shoes (not boots) or black sneakers (no logos, trim or decorations of any kind). Heels higher than one inch are not permitted.
Boy’s uniform consists of:
- Gray trousers or shorts
- Short or long sleeved burgundy polo with school emblem
- Dress shoes (not boots) or black sneakers (no logos, trim or decorations of any kind).
Girls and Boys are only permitted to wear the school sweater, school sweatshirt or school fleece jacket over the uniform while in school.
On gym class day, students must wear their gym uniform and sneakers to school. (Sneakers are not limited to black on gym day) Gym uniform consists of the school imprinted T-shirt or sweatshirt and school imprinted shorts or sweatpants. GYM UNIFORMS MUST ALSO BE PURCHASED FROM THE IDEAL UNIFORM COMPANY.
Dress Down Days: slippers, flip flops, short shorts, tank tops, pajamas, and inappropriately printed tee shirts are NOT PERMITTED. (Play clothes and sneakers if a dress down day coincides with gym day)
**Sneakers with wheels are NEVER permitted in school.
GROOMING: Students should take pride in their appearance and personal hygiene at all times.
The length of the boys’ hair is not to exceed the top of their shirt collar, nor is partial or total shaving of heads permitted. Boys are not permitted to wear earrings while in school.
Girls are only permitted to wear small earrings (no hanging earrings). Makeup and artificial nails are not permitted.
