Pi Day is celebrated on March 14. Since this year, March 14 was a Sunday, here at St. Fidelis we celebrated Pi Day on March 17th, St. Patrick's Day. The day was organized by Miss Reinwald, the 7th grade homeroom teacher. Each class did special age-appropriate Math activities in the classroom. The auditorium was set up as a Math Fair, and the classes visited throughout the day. Many games and puzzles were set up for the students to play. The Aquinas Club members remained in the auditorium to keep the activities organized and to help the younger children. The day was a lot of fun, and all the students had a chance to see that Math is everywhere and can enrich their lives out of the classroom.
