Friday, May 25th..................Walk a thon!  Please remember to bring in your $50 sponsorship so your child can participate in the walk.

Monday, May 28th................School is closed......MEMORIAL DAY

Friday, June 8th.....................LAST DAY OF SCHOOL ........PRE K - CLOSING CEREMONY......9AM  ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND!!

THE WEEK OF MAY 14th.........................

 We will be learning the letter Y using the earobics and working on activity sheets.

Circle Time: We will be reading Little Y book and working with letter Y worksheets.

We are also reading crunchin munchin caterpillar and The Door Bell Rang. 

Math - Reviewing number recognition 1 - 10 We will be doing sorting and pattern and counting projects as well. 

 Religion-    Thank you God for my senses.

The children have been doing well with their prayers.  Please practice the Our Father and Hail Mary with them.

We will be practicing for our Closing Ceremony, which is on June 8th.   Ask the children about their nursery rhymes and songs.  It will be a great ceremony.

Please remember to read to your child daily. This will help them with comprehension and add new words to their vocabulary.  It is important for you to have the children practice listening for words that rhyme in the stories that you read to them. 

 As you read ask them if they hear rhyming words on each page. In addition, it is very important to have the children pay close attention to the pictures to help them notice clues and gain an understanding of what is happening in the story.  The clues are very useful for them to begin to predict what may happen on each page. Please remember to visit the library.
