Grading System
The overall Grading System for Grades 1-4 will be as follows:

| Projects/Reports | 10% of overall grade |
| Homework | 20% of overall grade |
| Classwork/Participation | 10% of overall grade |
| Total | 100% |
The overall Grading System for Grades 5-8 will be as follows:
| Tests/Quizzes | 70% of overall grade |
| Projects/Reports | 10% of overall grade |
| Homework | 10% of overall grade |
| Classwork/Participation | 10% of overall grade |
| Total | 100% |
Requirements for Promotion
Any student who fails Math for the year MUST attend an approved Summer School program for Math.
Any student who fails ELA/Reading for the year MUST attend an approved Summer School program for ELA.
Any student who fails Science and/or Social Studies must attend an approved Summer School program for ELA.
Any student who fails Math AND ELA for the year MUST REPEAT THE GRADE and will not be promoted.
Attendance is also a factor of promotion.
